Peng Hsiung

My first acquaintance with "zines" dates back to 2020, when I moved to Taichung for my first work. Not far from my workplace, there is a small boutique selling all kinds of zines, which surprised me on my first visit to the place. Later on I bought a few books introducing zine artist around the world and the book also offer some simple tips for making one's own zine. That's when I started to think about making my first zine.

Most of my zines are originated from the little weird ideas in my daily life, or derived from the things I encountered during taking photos on the streets. So they are what I call "artistic produces cultivated from the soil of daily life." All the photo-shooting, illustration, hand-written characters and binding are done by myself.
